Featured Projects In Progress

During the last several months at East Syracuse Minoa CSD, significant progress has occurred. This summer, efforts have concentrated on several exciting developments, including the installation of a state-of-the-art turf field and track, which include stadium restrooms and a press box, as well as new stadium lighting. The baseball field has undergone significant improvements as well. Finally, the the student drop-off area and district parking lots have been reconfigured and renovated, and main entrance to the High School is being significantly enhanced. These improvements will create a more welcoming and functional environment for the students, staff and community.

Construction for GST BOCES is underway. The project has two job sites, Wildwood campus and Cooper campus. Both locations are constructing gymnasium additions. Having these new spaces will open up the possibilities to expand programming. Students can benefit from more physical education classes, recreational programs and performance space. The community can benefit from the ability to use the space for community events, meetings and adult education classes.

At West Genesee CSD, major pool renovations are taking place at the High School. The 2020 Capital Improvements Project touches seven school buildings, as well as the District Office and Transportation Center. Other Project highlights include a new turf field and press box, as well as structural and mechanical upgrades District-wide.

At North Syracuse CSD, major renovations and improvements are underway at the High School. Demolition of locker rooms, gymnasium, auditorium, and walkways are all taking place. Additionally, the District is constructing a new, state of the art pool at the High School. District-wide security upgrades will also be implemented. This work is part of a series of Capital Improvements Projects.
